Terms of Service

Effective 13 August 2026

These terms govern your use of QRazy (we, us, our). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use QRazy.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. It forms part of these terms.

The service

QRazy lets you create QR codes and, on supported plans, hosted short links that redirect to a destination you choose, or hosted forms that collect submissions in your dashboard. Features and limits depend on your plan. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

Your account

You must be 18 or older to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. One person or organisation should not maintain multiple accounts to evade plan limits or restrictions.

Plans and subscriptions

QRazy offers free and paid plans. Plan details — including how many tracked short links you may create, hosted form usage, and which features are included — are shown when you sign up or upgrade. We may change plan features or limits from time to time as described below and in the Changes section.

Paid plans are billed on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorise us (and our payment processor) to charge the applicable fees until you cancel. We may offer free trials or promotional pricing from time to time; trial length and eligibility are shown at checkout. When a trial ends, billing continues at the selected rate unless you cancel first.

Fair use and usage limits

QRazy is built for normal personal, club, and small-business use — posters, menus, events, membership drives, and similar everyday workflows. Even where a plan is described as unlimited for tracked short links, scans, or form submissions, that means unlimited for reasonable use on that plan, not unlimited for any purpose.

You must not use QRazy in ways that place unreasonable load on our systems or harm other users, including:

  • operating link farms, bulk redirect networks, or high-volume automated traffic unrelated to ordinary QR use;
  • collecting form submissions at a volume or rate far beyond what a typical account on your plan would generate;
  • reselling or sublicensing the service without our agreement;
  • using QRazy primarily as infrastructure for another product rather than for your own links and codes.

If your usage is unusually high, abusive, or inconsistent with fair use, we may contact you, apply temporary limits, restrict certain features, throttle redirects or form submissions, require a different plan, or take other action under these terms.

We may also introduce or adjust plan limits (for example on tracked links, form submissions, analytics retention, or team features) where needed to keep the service reliable and sustainable. Where a change materially reduces what your current paid plan includes, we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect for existing subscribers, except where urgent action is needed for abuse, security, legal compliance, or protection of the service.

Organisation subdomains (Team plan)

Team organisations may choose a subdomain (for example yourclub.qrazy.au) when upgrading. Subdomains are allocated first come, first served, subject to availability and our reserved-name list. You may not choose a name intended to impersonate another party or our platform.

Your subdomain is active while you have a current Team subscription, including any free trial shown at checkout. If Team billing ends or payment fails and is not resolved, the subdomain stops serving short links. Links shown in your dashboard may revert to go.qrazy.au; printed QR codes that use the old subdomain URL may stop working until you upgrade again or update your materials.

Failed or cancelled payments

If a subscription payment fails or your subscription ends, your account reverts to the free plan (or the free organisation plan, where applicable). When that happens:

  • paid-only features stop — including scan analytics, custom slugs, custom expiry controls, and Team subdomains;
  • you may not create new tracked short links beyond the free-plan limit;
  • existing tracked short links that exceed the free-plan limit, or that rely on paid-only features, may stop redirecting until you upgrade again or bring your account back within free-plan limits.

Free-plan tracked links remain subject to free-plan rules, including expiry limits. We are not obliged to keep inactive or non-compliant links working indefinitely.

Your content and short links

You choose where your short links point and, for hosted forms, which fields to ask and how to use responses. You are responsible for that content and must have the right to use it. For forms, you must collect only what you need, have a lawful basis to do so where required, and not use QRazy to collect sensitive information you are not equipped to handle.

We do not routinely review destinations or form submissions, but we may disable links, forms, or take other action if we reasonably believe they violate these terms or put the service or others at risk — including malware, phishing, spam, or content that infringes someone else's rights.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use QRazy in breach of the fair use rules above, or at a volume or pattern that we reasonably treat as excessive for your plan;
  • attempt to bypass plan limits, including by creating multiple free accounts;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without permission;
  • interfere with the service or other users' use of it;
  • use automated means to abuse redirects, analytics, or sign-up flows;
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

If we reasonably believe you have abused the service, we may warn you, restrict features, disable links, or close your account without refund where permitted by law.

Availability and disclaimers

QRazy is provided on an as is and as available basis. We aim for reliable redirects and uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Short links and analytics may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable because of maintenance, outages, third-party services, or factors outside our control.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly stated in these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or business interruption arising from your use of QRazy. Where we are liable, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using QRazy at any time. You can delete tracked QR codes from your dashboard; contact us if you want your account removed.

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if:

  • you breach these terms;
  • we are required to do so by law, court order, or a regulator;
  • we discontinue the service (in whole or in part);
  • we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect QRazy, our users, or the public — for example because of fraud, payment abuse, circumventing plan limits, harmful or illegal short-link destinations, security incidents, automated abuse, or conduct that interferes with the service or harasses our staff or other users;
  • your subscription payment fails and remains unresolved after any grace period we offer.

Suspension is temporary restriction of access; termination ends your account. We may suspend first and terminate later if issues are not resolved. Where reasonable, we will tell you why action was taken, but we are not obliged to give advance notice in urgent cases (such as active abuse or security risk).

On termination, your right to use QRazy ends. We may disable your short links and delete or anonymise associated data after a reasonable period. If you are on a paid plan and we terminate for a reason other than your breach of these terms, we will handle any refund or remedy as required by the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Victoria, except where mandatory consumer protections in your location say otherwise.
